Australian Football Group (AFG) delivers elite international football experiences for Australian youth players, providing opportunities to compete in top overseas tournaments and experience professional football environments in a national-team style setup.

AFG tours are for selected, committed, and ambitious youth footballers who want to test themselves against strong international opposition and develop through high-level competition.

Players are selected through:

    •    AFG’s scouting network

    •    Club nominations and coach recommendations

    •    Retention from previous AFG tours

Selection is based on ability, attitude, coachability, and suitability for the tour environment.

Player welfare is a priority at AFG. We provide:

    •    Dedicated staff supervision throughout the tour

    •    Clear behaviour standards and curfew policies

    •    Medical and emergency procedures

    •    Ongoing, professional communication with families

AFG is not an agent and does not guarantee trials or contracts.

However, through elite tournaments and our international network, players are exposed to high-level environments where opportunities may arise.

All progression comes through performance, professionalism, and merit — not promises.

Players are added to our scouting database to ensure they are considered for suitable tournaments during the relevant calendar year.

Inclusions vary by tour and are clearly outlined before commitment.

A standard AFG tour package typically includes, for one player and one supporter:

    •    Tournament entry

    •    AFG Training Camp experience and Presentation Night in the relevant state

    •    Accommodation

    •    AFG coaching and staff supervision

    •    Training sessions and/or professional friendly matches overseas

    •    Sightseeing activities and ground transport

    •    Official AFG player gear
